Question: How old do you have to be to volunteer?

Answer: 12 years old; all volunteers 12y to 15y must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18y.

Question: Is food provided such as lunch for the volunteers?

Answer: Unfortunately not at this time, but it may happen in the future. For now, all volunteers must bring their own food.

Question: Do we get paid to volunteer?

Answer: No, volunteers donate their time. Volunteers will be recognized by receiving a certificate after the completion of the 4 hour time dedicated to volunteering.

Question: Can I write off my donations on my taxes?

Answer: The organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; you will be given a receipt for your donations. The simple answer is yes, but you should always consult with your own tax professional.
